Man: Educate Yourself (MEY) promotes engagement with men who are campus administrators, managers, and supervisors in conversations, introspection, and appropriate action regarding how they can advance gender equity in office and classroom settings.
MEY began as a grant-funded project through the Women & Gender Collaborative to provide space and resources for men across campus to understand their roles and responsibilities for advancing a culture and climate of gender equity. The first MEY group met over the Spring 2017 semester and engaged in conversations about masculinity and societal influences affecting mindsets and behaviors that manifest in work and learning environments.

MEY facilitators share skills, insights and strategies on how to increase understanding and promotion of gender equity leading to greater success for people of all genders through a lens of simultaneity.
Based on its initial success and impact over the first two years, MEY is continuing its semester-long programming, which supports President Frank’s charge to make CSU the best place for women to work and learn.
