The Women & Gender Collaborative is seeking involvement from diverse and committed CSU employees who are passionate about advancing gender equity and eager to enhance professional growth and learning for themselves and others.
Committee involvement will be structured using a Systems-Based Leadership Development through Service (SLDS) model that was created to respond to the unique needs of our institutional landscape at CSU.
This model creates opportunities for 1) leadership and professional development among diverse individuals that 2) educate on inclusive practices and operationalize skills to foster a culture of accountability and effectiveness through 3) committee activities focused on programming and recommending, which holistically and systemically support the University mission to improve the campus culture and climate around gender.
In order for us to create robust, balanced, and dynamic committee groups, please fill out the information below. This form is available year-round, and submissions will be reviewed on a regular basis as committee positions become available.
The first SLDS retreat will be held on the afternoon of January 18th, 2019 to clarify expectations and committee charges. Ideally, all those who serve on Women & Gender Collaborative committees as co-chairs will be present. If possible, committee members are also encouraged to attend.
